Tvrtko Jolić, principle investigator

Tvrtko Jolić (Ph.D., University of Zagreb) is a research associate at the Institute of Philosophy in Zagreb. In this project, he will examine the types of collective agents to whom moral progress can be attributed and analyze unsuccessful attempts at moral progress, investigating the factors leading to such failures.

Tomislav Bracanović

Tomislav Bracanović (Ph.D., University of Zagreb) is a scientific advisor at the Institute of Philosophy. His research in this project will focus on moral progress in the context of evolutionary theory, as well as on metaethical discussions on moral progress.

Ana Grgić

Ana Grgić (Ph.D., University of Zagreb) is a research associate specializing in moral psychology. Her research in this project will focus on the role of emotions in moral progress, exploring how emotional responses influence moral decision-making and personal moral development.

Filip Grgić

Filip Grgić (Ph.D., University of Zagreb) is a scientific advisor at the Institute of Philosophy. His work in this project will focus on the exploration of regret and moral progress, as well as taking responsibility for past actions and how this contributes to individual moral development.

Lovro Grgić

Lovro Grgić (Ph.D., University of Rijeka) is a recent doctoral graduate with a focus on political philosophy. In this project, Lovro will explore revolution as a form of moral progress, analyzing historical moral shifts and their impact on collective ethics.

Viktor Ivanković

Viktor Ivanković (Ph.D., Central European University) is a research associate at the Institute of Philosophy. His research within the project includes studying moral progress through behavioral influence, achieving minimal moral progress, and the contribution of ethicists and political philosophers to moral change.

Karolina Kudlek

Karolina Kudlek (Ph.D., University of Twente) is a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University. In this project, she will focus on investigating moral progress through institutional means, as well as exploring the potential for moral progress via biotechnological interventions.

Matej Sušnik

Matej Sušnik (Ph.D., University of Zagreb) is a research associate whose work in this project will involve analyzing effective altruism as an example of moral progress, with a focus on the normative framework of discussions on moral progress.
